MIKE GIARDI
Coach
Mike Giardi played four years of professional baseball for the Yankees, Giants, and Expos minor league teams. The 1994 Harvard graduate was a four year starter for the varsity team, in which he was named the 1994 Ivy League Player of the Year. He was later inducted into the Harvard Hall of Fame. Giardi grew up in Salem, Massachusetts and played High School baseball at Salem High School, where he helped win a State Championship in 1989 and was named the 1990 DII Massachusetts Player of Year.
Mike is one of the top hitting instructors in the North Shore area. He has also runs various coaches clinics for youth coaches in the area. Mike is currently the head baseball & basketball coach at Marblehead High School and offensive coordinator for the football team. He coached in the Vikings Program for 7 years.
