Coach
Matt Lessard grew up in Manchester, New Hampshire. Matt leads our very impressive Vikings pitching program and is hands on from winter workout practices to outdoor games with our pitching staff! Matt graduated from Saint Anselm College in 2014 with degrees in Mathematics and Economics. He currently works for Liberty Mutual Insurance in Boston as an eCommerce Web Analyst. During his time at Saint Anselm, Matt spent time pitching for the varsity baseball team alongside another Vikings coach, Zack Brian. Prior to Saint Anselm, Matt attended the Trinity-Pawling School, an elite boarding school in Pawling, New York. While at Trinity-Pawling, Matt competed on the Varsity Baseball team as both a Closing Pitcher and Outfielder. That Trinity-Pawling baseball program is the one that helped develop and produce Boston Red Sox legend, Mo Vaughn. During the summers, Matt competed for his local legion club, Jutras Post 43 of Manchester, NH.
Matt is an assistant coach at Ipswich High School and coached our 14u Gold team this past season. He is a great pitcher resource for all teams as he attends as many games and practices as possible.
