Marc Crovo grew up in Melrose, MA class of 2004 at Melrose High School and was a three year Varsity starter. Marc continued his education at Salem State University and graduated in 2009 with a degree in Business Management. During his time there, he was the starting Catcher for four years. In 2006, Marc helped lead the SSU team that posted a 34-8 record, leading them to a MASCAC championship and their first ever win in a New England Regional Tournament game. He had a .520 OBP and led the team in both walks and stolen bases, earning him a spot on the MASCAC all-conference team. After the season, Marc received a Cape Cod League invite from the Brewster Whitecaps and was also named a Yawkey Baseball League All-Star. Over the next two seasons at Salem State, Marc was named Co-Captain of the team.

Following his career on the playing field, Marc continued work with baseball by Coaching at Malden Catholic in 2009. He spent a season coaching at the collegiate level at Salem State University. The year Marc was coaching there SSU baseball won the MASCAC championship and earned their first NCAA Regional trip since his playing days at SSU. As the Vikings Baseball Program Director, Marc attends all team practices and most of the older teams games. He is the most heavily involved program director in the area.

Marc also has a wrestling background, his father Paul Crovo was a three time state champion wrestler.

Marc currently resides in Wenham, MA with his wife and four daughters Ellie, Maeve, Stella and Camilla. His entrepreneurship has ventured into co-ownership of Northmen Outfitters, Inc. specializing in all areas of custom apparel (Heat press, embroidery & graphic design).
